how do I get around Mexico City?
We highly recommend that you avoid taking any sort of public transportation during your trip. UBER is super affordable and reliable, just make sure the license plates coincide with those displayed on your App and ask the driver who the UBER is for before getting in the car. 

What is a fun activity to do to see the whole city?
we really recommend taking the TURIBUS through the “Centro Historico” route, to get you familiarized with the city! They have English headphones and you can take it at “Las Cibeles” in Roma.

Can I drink the water?
Do not drink tap water. It is clean that you can brush your teeth but not for drinking. Buy bottles of water. Mexico City's typical bodegas are either OXXO or 7Eleven.

Where can I go if I need medicine / toiletries / etc?
In case you need to go to a pharmacy, we recommend "San Pablo Farmacia", they are very professional and have most of the products you could possibly need, they have many locations across the city too. There are other pharmacies, of course.

is Mexico city safe?
Like in any big city, mind your surroundings and stay alert, specifically in large public areas, like the Centro Histórico (aka Zocalo). Plan ahead and commit to that route.

WILL I BE OKAY IF I DON'T KNOW SPANISH?
The language barrier will be very real down there and you will notice. Most Mexicans speak English though, but do not expect this to apply to everyone. restaurants, museums, bars, cafes, etc. should be fine, But acknowledge that English is not the main language here. 

do i need a converter for plugs?
Plugs are the same as the US so no need to bring one.

Do I need pesos for my trip?
You can use your Debit/Credit everywhere really. Doesn’t hurt to carry some cash around though. Some places only take cash, street food stands mainly.

Do I need a covid test before or after the trip?
as of right now, You don’t need a negative COVID Test to fly into mexico or back to the US.
